Neighborhood Meeting #2

Somerville’s new zoning code requires all new developments in Mid-Rise districts to have at least two neighborhood meetings as part of the ‘Site Plan Approval Process.’

The 2nd of two neighborhood meetings regarding the proposed 3-story commercial development at 599 Somerville Avenue was hosted virtually by Ward 3 City Councilor, Ben Ewen Campen on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Rafi Properties, owner and developer of 599 Somerville Avenue, presented redevelopment plans for the 599 site. Following the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback about the project.
