• Building demo and removal begins.**

**Please note, the demolition and removal of the existing one story masonry building will begin Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 at 7am. A full-time fire detail from Somerville Fire Department will be onsite during the building demolition.

While short-term in duration, the 599 Somerville project team recognizes that demolition is one of the more impactful activities for the neighborhood and are making every effort to mitigate those impacts including the regular monitoring of air quality, noise and vibration.
